I'm trying to decide between 3 difficult piano works to take on as a
summer project before I head off to college as a freshman: Hungarian
Rhapsody 2 (or possibly 14), Rachmaninov's 3rd (1st mvt), or Saint
Saens' Africa: fantasy for piano and orchestra. I took on Rhapsody in
Blue last year as a summer project, and I feel like I should take on
something more challenging this year. I'm not going off as a piano
major or anything, I just want something to do this summer. If there
is something better that you would recommend, please do so, but notice
that I'm doing it more for fun than for technical skill. Thanks
